The Stainless Clevis Slip Hook is designed with a wider throat, which allows items such as webbing, chain, master links or shackles to be placed on the hook and not slip out when there is no weight holding them in place. The Clevis Slip Hook has a removable latch and pin and the clevis is a U-shaped piece that has holes at the end of the prongs to accept the clevis pin. As a part of a fastener, a clevis provides a method of allowing rotation in some axes while restricting rotation in others.
